Our goal is to rejuvenate the floor by removing all of the old finishes (sealer, wax, etc.) and embedded dirt.
After evaluating the floor, we begin by applying a chemical formulated to dissolve old finishes. We then scrub with an aggressive pad on our side by side machines.
This process may need to be repeated more than once depending on the number of coats being removed, the amount of dirt embedded, and the length of time since this procedure was last performed.
Once the floor is as clean as possible (many times some finish will remain in low points and cracks), two or more thin coats of sealer are applied. After the coats have cured for at least 48 hours, the floor is burnished with our high speed machine to lock the layers together and harden the finish. This may be repeated predicated on the expected usage of the floor, so that it will last as long as possible.
